Type of Class

Fly Tying Classes
Our fly tying classes are built to help teach the fundamentals of fly tying. Skills are taught through a progression of patterns and techniques. Classes are held here at the shop on posted Saturdays. Both Beginning and Intermediate Classes are $35 per student and include all materials needed. Space is limited to 6 students per class and a 50% deposit is required.

Learn the fundamentals of fly tying

Intermediate Fly Tying 10am-1pm
$35 Per Student
Take the fundametals of fly tying and progress to the next level. Our Intermediate Class can be taken in progression with the Beginning Fly Tying Class or individualy.

Entomology Class

Examine specimens and photos of local insects

while discussing life cycles and many patterns

important to fly anglers.

Introduction to Aquatic Insects
10am-12pm
$30 per student

Casting Classes
Our casting classes are designed to improve every anglers ability. Whether your are picking up fly casting for the first time or if your trying to improve your double hual we can help.

Basic Casting Class
Learn how the fly cast works by studying and practicing the fundamentals.

$30.00 per student

Fly Fishing School
Please call the shop or stop by to learn more about our renouned fly fishing school

All classes include materials and tools, all you need to bring is enthusiasm.

Class size will be limited to six participants and a %50 deposit is required. Reserve space by calling the shop at (970)498-8968. All class cancelations must be made 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

All classes are either held or start at the shop.
