St. Peter's Fly Shop

At the shop we enjoy special events as much as you do! We find all events bring the fly fishing community together for entertainment as well as education. Whether it is a film tour or a book signing we will bring it to you and keep you posted. Continue to check for upcoming events.

Tying Demo with Charlie Craven

Join us for one of our favorite tying demos of the year. I don't feel like I need to say a whole lot about Charlie because just about everyone know who he is and about his tying abilities. For those of you who have never seen him please stop in.

Tying Demo with Eric Ishiwata
Many people may have not seen Eric tie before but he is sure to impress. He will be tying a variety of streamer patterns with a focus on tube flies and articulated patterns using natural materials. I have been out to the Miracle Mile with Eric and I can tell you from experience that his patterns work well.

Tying Demo with Pat Dorsey
Pat is a famous guide from the South Platte region. He is also well know for his book and DVD's about nymphing techniques. Just as impresive is his array of origional patterns that work all over the world.

Tying Demo with John Gierach
One of our favorite people in the industry is with out a doubt Pettine. Not only is he a amazing tier with fly patterns found in every fly shop but he is local. It would be hard to find someone better at telling stories than Eric and considering he has been in the industry for over 40 years he has a few. I cant say enough good things about Eric so you will just have to come see for yourself all he has to offer.

Tying Demo with Tim England
Coming to the shop for our last tying demo of the season is Tim with his impresive spun deer hair flies. Tim has been tying for year but has taken a break from the demo sceen for a while so welcome back. One thing that is great about this demo is that Tim will be tying poppers and coincidently it is the start of bass season. Hooray!
