Current Streamflow :: ice cfs at canyon mouth, 17 cfs in Fort Collins
Report :: The river has moved into winter mode although on nice weather days there is still some open water in the lower canyon.
Midges are the prevalent bug on the water and there are fish eating on the surface during certain times of the day. Watch for rising fish and if not visible nymph the deeper runs and holes. A trick for when the fish are eating small dries is to use a big dry as a lead pattern or try a little Bio Strike.

Report :: The Reef is fishing okay at this point. There are still some weeds since there wasn't a fall flush which can make fishing a bit tough. The crowds are down right now which is a bonus. Both nymphing and streamer fishing has been productive with the middle of the day being prime.
