This tying class focuses on the fundamentals of tying traditional soft hackle wet flies with our guide and soft hackle addict, Joe Mchugh.  We will be tying three unique soft hackle patterns and discussing how to effectively fish such flies.  Whether you are swinging soft hackles or nymphing them, these often overlooked patterns are a must have for your fly box and fishing success.  We will discuss and demonstrate correct material choices and fly proportions as well as the correct fishing techniques.  This class is part fly tying and part discussion.  We want you to walk away with the skill set needed to tie and fish soft hackle flies on your own.  Every student receives a $15 credit towards fly tying tools and materials.  Intermediate fly tying skills are recommended.

(Please note: Students younger than 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the class)
