Wednesday, November 14th @ St. Peter's South

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Go ahead, sleep in, make that big breakfast.  Have another cup of coffee.  Winter fishing usually means you get solitude and the best time to be on the water usually mirrors banker’s hours.  Yes, we obviously get some cold days, but we also get some stunners even in the dead of January and February, and those are the days you want to be wadered up and cruising the river.  Most people trade rods for skis, and reels for bindings, and head up the I-70 lift lines, but those of us in the know understand that Colorado boasts some of the best winter fly fishing the country has to offer...and most of it lies within a couple hours of where you sit right now.

However, winter fishing is also full of uncertainties...and seasonally unique problems.  How cold is it?  How do you effectively fish tiny flies?  How do I keep ice out of the guides.  How do I stay warm?!  Join our in-house, cold-weather expert, Josh, as he explains the intricacies and joys of winter fishing.  Consistent bugs and low fishing pressure is a match made in winter heaven. We promise, winter fishing is worth your time and effort!

Join us at St. Peter’s South shop for a free presentation on Wednesday, November 14th from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. highlighting the most underrated of all fishing seasons, WINTER.  Yeah, we said it.  We take our winter fishing seriously and want to show you the where’s, when’s, and how’s to get it done consistently during winter.  Give us a call at 970-377-3785 and get yourself signed up, space is limited!
