As temperatures begin to really drop, the Poudre is fishing extremely well. With the month of October wrapping up and winter approaching, there are still a lot of fishing opportunities to look forward to. Streamer fishing and small nymphs are beginning to become more effective, but don't put away your dry fly box yet. Blue wing olive and midge dries are still productive (we are still finding chubby eaters too)!

Our Fall Float season on the Reef is in full swing, so if you are itching to find out whats so special about the mysterious "up north," let Rex or Kevin show you something a little different!

Fall means dark, cool evenings, which means it is time to get those vices out. We have some free fly tying demos coming up, starting on November 10th with Bob Reece. Come by the South Shop from 10:30-12:30 AM and enjoy a cup of coffee while Bob ties a few signature patterns.
