Cache la Poudre River Guided Fly Fishing Trips
One of the favorite fisheries near Fort Collins, Colorado
Just a mile from our old town location in Fort Collins, the majestic Poudre River originates from Poudre Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, flowing eastward towards Fort Collins. Boasting over 45 miles of public water on its main stem alone, it stands out as our top local fishery. As one of the few undammed rivers in Colorado, the Cache la Poudre River offers breathtaking scenery throughout the entire canyon. Situated mere minutes from our shops, it is our favorite local fishery to guide and fish ourselves. Our guided fly fishing trips on the Cache la Poudre commence at our Old Town location in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. From there, we embark on an adventure into the picturesque Poudre Canyon for an unforgettable fly fishing experience.

Our Guides
Here at St. Peter's Fly Shop, our commitment is to offer clients a personalized, top-tier experience with our friendly, knowledgeable, and expertly trained guides. Unlike some other establishments, we don't simply match you with someone learning the waters; our guides are seasoned on the water's they guide; with a deep understanding of local streams, hatches, and techniques. While we embrace the unique personalities of our team, you won't encounter any attitudes, assumptions, or criticisms from our guides. Your satisfaction is our priority, and if for any reason you encounter anything less than exceptional service, we encourage you to let us know—we're here to ensure your experience exceeds expectations.
Guide Trips
All guide trips can be instructional...or we can just go out and help you catch fish. Part school, part fishing, our trips will build your fundamental fly fishing skills, expand your understanding of local entomology, work the kinks out of your presentation, or help you get rid of that annoying tailing loop. Let us know what we can do to maximize your enjoyment on stream and we'll do whatever we can to accommodate you.
