St. Peter’s Signature Fly Fishing School focuses on building a strong foundation for any novice angler to work from. We work to create a deeper understanding of trout, their environment and the equipment used during this course, to ensure an enjoyable and fun learning experience for all.

St. Peter’s Intro to Fly Fishing is a class designed to introduce new anglers to the absolute fundamentals of fly fishing. We understand that there is a lot of conflicting information out there in regard to fly fishing basics and how to do things. Our Intro to Fly Fishing class will take out the guess work and give you the need-to-know information all beginning fly anglers should have.

Spend two days immersed in Trout Spey fishing on Wyoming’s legendary Miracle Mile. This small-group camp (4-max) combines hands-on instruction, fishing, fly tying, and camping for a complete Trout Spey experience.

Learn the science and strategy of swinging flies for trout on the river, with a focus on approach, reading "swing" water, and two-handed spey casting. This small-group class (max 3) includes all equipment (including spey rods and flies), and lunch. Class will meet on the Miracle Mile, WY.

Intro to Fly Tying teaches the basic tools, materials, and techniques needed to tie a variety of flies in a hands-on shop session.
