St. Peter's Fly Fishing Foundation II Classes
Rigging and Knots for Trout Class
With hands on classroom time, we will discuss and tie a variety of rigs for different trout fishing situations. From dry/dropper to indicator to stillwater rigs, you will leave with the confidence to tie up your own rigs and the confidence to fish them with success.
Trout Behavior Class
Trout fishing is an on-going puzzle that is always evolving, just as trout themselves are complex specimens that have learned to survive and adapt to ever-changing habitat and pressures. It is very easy to apply what others have told us to do on the water but knowing why we did it is another level of enlightenment.
Technical Tailwaters Class
Technical Tailwaters is here to help anglers learn how to get these smart, picky fish, to eat incredibly small flies. We will cover fly selection, hatches, why these fish can be so tricky to catch and much more.
On-Water Entomology
Have you taken our Angler's Entomology class and want to bring your knowledge to the next level? Or maybe you like bugs, but not classrooms? Our on the water Entomology class is just the ticket for you! Experience on water knowledge of our local river and the bugs that inhabit it.
