Current Streamflow: 86 cfs @ Encampment

Fall fishing on the Encampment is excellent, with midges and BWOs hatching in the mornings and evenings. Dry-dropper rigs are effective for locating fish, while smaller nymphs (#18-20) like Juju Baetis, CDC RS2s, Two Bit Hookers, and Micro Mayflys will work best midday. Small midges and Poison Tungs are also great for searching. Streamers are becoming more effective as fish grow aggressive in cooler weather, so try larger patterns like the Articulated Goldie, Rusty Trombone, and Dungeons. Be mindful of fish spawning on redds and avoid those areas. Good luck and be safe!
