Encampment River Fishing Report
Last Updated: 10/9/2025
Current Streamflow: 84 cfs @ Encampment
With the colder weather beginning to settle in, the fishing on the Encampment will only get better. Fish will be in the deeper holding water during the beginning of the day. Starting the morning out nymphing small midges and baetis nymphs will find some fish. As temperatures rise throughout the day the dry fly fishing has been turning on in the afternoon, using Trico, Midges, and Blue Wing Olive dry flies has proved to be effective when those fish start looking up for dry flies.
With another great float season over we have began to pivot towards wade fishing the Encampment. If you would like to book a float trip for the 2026 season give us a call at (970) 498-8968
