Latest Update: 7/12/2025
Current Streamflow : 1488 cfs @ Miracle Mile
Fishing on the Miracle Mile has been productive over the past few weeks. Flows have dropped down to around 1500 cfs, which is awesome for fishing. Water clarity has been great, weather has stayed rather mild, and fish are happy and willing to eat. Focus on slower deeper runs where the fish don’t have to expend a lot of energy to feed. For the best success, try setting up a double or triple nymph rig with an attractor pattern like a leech, or golden stonefly up top down to baetis nymphs, PMD, or Caddis nymphs. These PMD's and Baetis are still on the smaller side, so be sure to have #18’s down to #20’s depending on what the fish are feeding on. The Goldens are larger in size, fishing patterns like a two bit stone or biot stone in a size 8-10 can produce success. For the Caddis a Bird's Nest in a size 14-16 is a go to for us at the shop.
Most of us in the shop have been swinging larger streamers and other swing patterns, such as CD’s Lil Swinger, Platte River Spider, and Articulated Goldie. As always, feel free to give us a call or stop by either shop with any questions you may have.
