Latest Update: 11/19/2024
Current Streamflow : 538 cfs @ Miracle Mile
Flows on the Miracle Mile will hold around 500-550 CFS for the remainder of the winter season. Midges and BWOs have been hatching in the morning and evening which can be super fun to fish. During the warmer hours of the day, nymphing the deep runs will be the most productive. Try using San Juan Worms, caddis larvae, Baetis and midges for your nymph rigs, and adjust your depth by 6 inches until you find where the fish are located.
Streamer and Spey fishing will continue to improve with the cooler temperatures. These next few weeks will bring in some cooler weather, which will make trout happy and aggressive as they prepare for the winter months. Larger patterns such as Articulated Goldies, Ebonies, Rusty Trombones, and Dungeons will entice those bigger fish to eat. Use sinking lines to get those flies down deep and into the strike zone. Be especially cautious of redds and spawning fish and avoid those areas when you see them. Good luck and happy fishing!
