Miracle Mile Fishing Report

Latest Update: 8/21/2025

Current Streamflow : 541 cfs @ Miracle Mile

Warmer weather and summer flows at the Mile mean that fish are going to be sitting in deeper seams to find their feeding lanes. Three fly nymph rigs have been the most productive option when it comes to finding fish. PMD, BWO, caddis and golden stonefly nymphs are all great options to pair with more attractor style patterns like leeches, scuds and worms for nymphing at the mile.  As we continue having warm days Trico dries and hoppers also begin to play a big role, fishing these patterns can be a fun way to pivot away from fishing a large nymph rig and have a chance at finding fish on the surface. More aggressive fish at the mile are also happy to chase a streamer whether it's an articulated streamer being stripped on a single hand rod or smaller swing or soft hackle patterns swung on a spey rod.
