Current Streamflow : 522 cfs @ Miracle Mile
The Miracle Mile has started to see consistently warm weather, which opens up the door to the summer time bug life. Fishing nymph rigs has still been the most effective approach with fish eating golden stoneflies and caddis well. Mixing in attractor patterns like worms scuds and annelids has also been a great way to find success. Midges are also always in the mix at the mile so having a few if the fish are being finicky is not a bad idea.
As with any area on the North Platte streamers can find lots of success. Baitfish and crawfish imitations still continue to be big producers when fished in slack water or near structure. If you have any questions don't hesitate to give either shop a call and we can get you headed in the right direction.
