Waters We Guide
Poudre River
The Cache La Poudre is one of the only undammed rivers in the state and the canyon views are breathtaking. Only minutes away from our shop, this is our main local water and where most of our guide trips take place.
Big Thompson River
Beginning as a freestone stream in Rocky Mountain National Park, the Big Thompson River meanders through the beautiful mountain town of Estes Park, into Lake Estes and flows back out where you can fish the technical tailwater at the top of the canyon.
Grey Reef
When anglers want to catch big fish on big water, we bring them to the Grey Reef. This lower section of the North Platte River provides anglers with the opportunity to catch some very large fish year-round. Despite having access to wadable water, fishing this section from a boat is our preferable way to cover the water effectively.
Miracle Mile
The Miracle Mile is an iconic location in the fly fishing world. This tailwater offers superb fishing year round and can offer up some of the biggest fish in the West.Use this section to explain a set of product features, to link to a series of pages, or to answer common questions about your products. Add images for emphasis.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Only minutes outside of Estes Park, Colorado, lies the one and only Rocky Mountain National Park. Although not a trophy trout fishery, the number of beautiful sounds, wildlife, scenery, and solitude is what makes this fishery a truly intimate place.
Upper North Platte
The Upper North Platte River flows north from Colorado, into Wyoming along the Snowy Mountain range and through the Medicine Bow National Forest. On your early summer Upper North Platte River guided trip, you will be navigating through clouds of salmon flies, green drakes and caddis as the hatches are really something you must be there for.
Encampment River
Beginning just East of the Continental Divide in northern Colorado, the Encampment River briefly wanders north into Wyoming where it will soon converge with the North Platte River.
Horsetooth Reservoir
Our local warmwater trips on Horsetooth Reservoir provide the opportunity to pursue new species and expand your horizons as an angler. These trips focus on chasing Smallmouth bass by using a boat to work the structure along the edges.
