#1 The North Fork of the North Platte River – the headwaters of the North Platte River are some of the most incredible trout fisheries in Northern Colorado. This stretch of the north fork has great number of both rainbow and brown trout. Although the average size fish is 12-16 inches, these waters hold trophy fish that can push the 2ft mark. There is nothing more exhilarating than catching monster fish in some of the most pristine scenery.

#2 Encampment River – Access to the Encampment River is very limited making this water an incredible experience. This stretch of river holds a wonderful mix of both rainbow and brown trout averaging 12-16 inches with potential of fish over 20inch. We focus on fishing the Encampment during prime time for dry flies. When the compound hatches of Green Drakes, PMD’s, Yellow Sallies, and caddis take place, every nose on the river is up to participate in the smorgasbord.
