St. Peter’s Signature Fly Fishing School focuses on building a strong foundation for any novice angler to work from. We work to create a deeper understanding of trout, their environment and the equipment used during this course, to ensure an enjoyable and fun learning experience for all.
Intro to Fly Fishing Class
St. Peter’s Intro to Fly Fishing is a class designed to introduce new anglers to the absolute fundamentals of fly fishing. We understand that there is a lot of conflicting information out there in regard to fly fishing basics and how to do things. Our Intro to Fly Fishing class will take out the guess work and give you the need-to-know information all beginning fly anglers should have.
Angler's Entomology Class
One of the most challenging aspects about Fly Fishing is trying to find out what fish are eating. With a plethora of options at a fish’s disposal, this can be an incredibly intimidating and overwhelming puzzle. Knowing what flies to use and when to use them, can be all the difference between catching fish or coming home disappointed.
On Water Intro to Fly Fishing Class
This 4-hour on water session is for the beginning angler looking to improve their casting, learn how to read water, improve mending techniques and how to best present your flies and approach the water for success.
