St. Peter's Introduction to Fly Fishing Class

Introduction to Fly Fishing Class

St. Peter’s Intro to Fly Fishing is a class designed to introduce new anglers to the absolute fundamentals of fly fishing. We understand that there is a lot of conflicting information out there in regard to fly fishing basics and how to do things. Most of this information will simply over complicate things for the beginning angler. Our Introduction to Fly Fishing class will take out the guess work and give you the need-to-know information all beginning fly anglers should have. During this 4-hour session we will cover fly fishing terminology, fly selection, equipment, knots, rigging and the basics of fly casting. All equipment is included in the sign-up cost.

*In most cases, this class will be held partially indoors in our classroom at St. Peter's South location.  The casting portion will be outside.  A maximum of 8 students will be allowed per class.  You are welcome bring your own fly rod if one is available to you.
