Chasing blue wing hatches can be extremely fun and lead to some of the best dry fly sips of the year, as fish confidently eat these delicious morsels floating overhead. Being one of the last true major hatches we see each year before late fall and winter, fish will at times appear to make the water boil while sipping emerging BWO’s or sipping adults. Be sure to have an assortment of life stages to match what the fish are keying on.
